We don’t like to talk about our charity work…

By Craig | October 20, 2007

..but well done to friend of the band Andrew Dubber of New Music Strategies.

Two or three months back he launched a cheeky and audacious bid to get to the CMJ Music Marathon in Noo Yoik City. He had been asked to speak on some panel or other, but the invitation didn’t extend to flights, accomodation, beer or even cornflakes. So, he hit upon an idea that was amazingly simple - Those who contibuted financially to helping him get there would feature on a t-shirt he would wear as he mingled amongst the movers and shakers. By his own admission he didn’t expect the idea to work, but to his surpise and amazement he had the necessary funds donated within a fortnight from readers all over the interweb.

Here he is in Noo Yoik City at the CMJ Music Marathon with our name on his shirt
